Share Your Nepal Story

Walked the Annapurna Circuit? Waited out three days of Lukla fog? Found a village teahouse nobody writes about? Tell us about it.

We publish first-hand stories from travelers, trekkers, and people who live in Nepal. Start with a short enquiry. If your story is a good fit, we'll invite you to send the full piece.

What we publish

  • First-hand trekking and travel experiences in Nepal
  • Festivals, food, and local life seen up close
  • Honest accounts of what went wrong and what you'd do differently

What we don't publish

  • Stories already published elsewhere, including your own blog
  • AI-generated text or images
  • Stock photos or photos you didn't take
  • Promotional content for agencies, hotels, or other businesses

How it works

  1. Tell us about your story using the form below. Don't send the full story yet.
  2. We read every enquiry and reply within 7 days.
  3. If it's a good fit, we'll explain how to send your full story and photos.
  4. We edit it, check facts like permit fees and routes, and publish it with your name and photo credits.

If we invite your story

  • It needs to be at least 1,000 words, in English
  • Photos must be your own, with a landscape featured image at least 1,200px wide
  • It can't be published anywhere else, including your own blog

Any links in published stories are at our discretion and marked nofollow.
